IRmobile: The App for IR Thermometers and IR Cameras
IRmobile, developed by Optris GmbH, is an Android app that allows you to monitor and analyze your infrared temperature measurement directly on your smartphone or tablet. The app is compatible with most Android devices (12 or higher) that have a micro USB or USB-C port supporting USB-OTG (On The Go). With the app, you can easily operate your Optris pyrometer or IR camera by simply plugging it into the micro USB or USB-C port of your phone or tablet. The app includes a simulator for both pyrometer and camera, so you can try many functions even without connected devices.
The app has several features and functions for both pyrometers and IR cameras. For pyrometers, you can set up emissivity, transmissivity, and other parameters. You can also save/load configurations and T/t diagrams. For IR cameras, you can change the color palette, scaling, and temperature range, and create snapshots. The app also has a live infrared image with an automatic hot-/ and coldspot search. It is recommended to use the app with Samsung S10, Galaxy S21, Sony Xperia XA1Plus G3421, Google Pixel 6,7, and Xiaomi Note 8, Note 11, Mi10T Pro.
